Tenz loves to laugh and grab his feet in his car seat. We can see it in the mirror, but it is hard to capture on film...but dad snagged a few pictures today...Also, his with Sammie, clearly he loves older women already ;-P
Tenz had a great morning, didn't have any diarrhea when he woke up and I was excited...but it was too soon for joy. He started getting sick again about 11 o'clock and was fussy and needy all afternoon. Poor little bum, bum.
I am exhausted...and just as my stress was hitting an all time high and I was thinking about who I could call to come and help me for just a little while, my eyes were opened!
Let me step back a bit... Poor Tenz has caught a stomach bug. He has disgusting, mucasy diarrhea and needs to be changed every few minutes and his bum is so rashed and red and he screams bloody murder for each changing and he has cried more in these two days than his whole life added up!! I doesn't want to be held, he doesn't want to be set down, he only wants to hit and make me hurt like he hurts (he clearly gets that from me) and I couldn't even eat he was so needy. So, I decided he needed a warm salt bath to help his sore bum and to clean him up (obviously). I get the bath going and we get in and he is crying and I feel helpless and Pete has school tonight and I don't know when he will be home and I feel on the verge of crying myself and suddenly, he puts his head on my knee and lightly stirs the water. He is so sad and in pain that he just gave up and it hit me, however awful this is on me, it is worse on him. He doesnt' know what this pain is, why everything hurts, why mom can't fix it, why dad isn't here. I love that little boy so much that my heart nearly broke!!
I am not sure what is happening with this little guy recently but he woke up from his nap screaming and crying. Like never, ever before. Even when he has fallen and bumped his head badly. He just screamed and screamed and screamed for 15 minutes. I have no idea why and he wouldn't be consoled and pushed me away and away and just screamed. So finally, I just started taking pictures. Figured this tantrum of sorts was unusual and should be documented. Only a few of the pictures came out clear, because he didn't really sit still...but the pictures of him calming down and relaxing are the sweetest little thing ever. I hope he starts getting some words soon so I can know why he is so upset...or even why he is so happy! We went out to dinner for Taco Tuesday with some friends and he was sitting in the back and just laughing and pointing. We don't know at what, but it sure was funny and awesome to him. I was also struck by how cute his bright red onsie, unsnapped, looked against his teal FuzziBunz.
It looked so much like those Superhero Undone drawings. And those little thigh rolls?! Too cute!
I was super busy and hectic at school today and didn't get one picture of my cute boy! Luckily, everyone loves to take pictures of him and mama Alisha snapped this cute shot of him at Faculty Meeting... CUTE BABY!!!
Pete went and b ought a carpet cleaner today and we thought T would have the time of his life playing with the huge box. He didn't. He banged on it a few times and was petrified when Pete lowered him down into it. Then it sat in the corner of the living room as he played with the dishwasher all night. Oh our son will never do what is expected of him...I can tell that now!
Tenz also played with mama's phone and took all these face pics of himself...Ado
Tenz fits in his onomatopoeia onsie. So cute! I also saw this cute chair that looks like Pee Wee's Chairy but pink!
I know I posted this, but it didn't upload? Anyway...Tenz had school pictures today and had the biggest best smile ever! I am so excited to get them back. But, I don't have pics of that. So we just have the regular ones from today and playing around.
Tenz LOVED the little wood thing at the VW place. We were stuck there for over and hour and he was perfect!! he also loved the little chair...He was so happy that it was his size!
Tenz was a poop thru everything baby yesterday. I finally just gave up and let him run around in a diaper WT style. Also note the straws and cups and spoons and toys in the DVD stacker. He loves to put things in little spaces. I find the oddest things in the oddest places lately...
I am a first time mom in my mid-thirties. This is to share pictures and daily info about our precious little newborn son, Tenzin.
