I think this baby has been kissed and kissed so much all his life and he is finally getting it. He sees that it is an act of affection and now he is trying to give kisses back. Unfortunately, he thinks you do it with an open mouth and all over your face, cheeks, nose, whatever is near. Funny, funny baby.
We went to the dentist today and sweet baby's teeth look great. He gets to start brushing them now, so he won't hate it when he is older. Mom, unfortunately, has a cavity...Boo. Anyway, then we went and hung out at the Burn's and Tenz just LOVES him some Zach. Everything Z does, T laughs and laughs.
Tenz has re-rediscovered his tongue. But now, he has realized he can stick it way out and be long and pointy, not just out of his mouth. So, he is constantly sticking his tongue out at everyone.
So...dad was dressing baby and got his arm stuck. He was laughing and laughing at poor stumpy baby, so Tenz laughed too. Pretty funny morning. Then, we had Krispy over (our friend from Miami at Med School) so T was the center of attention and LOVED it! Then, there were just a few pics from the past week that I missed putting up. First, baby on Ms. Sue at the play. Grandpa and Tenz at different angles. Also, mom and baby had a nice nap this morning. Cute!
Mom got up early and went to some Black Friday sales...so we were so tired that we just lounged around all day. It was a relaxing, restful day. We also got our new washer delivered today. My sweetest, most wonderful husband went last week (after I had a breakdown about watching the diapers so vigilantly) and bought me a new washer. It is high efficiency and all sorts of great features. I am super excited. And relieved. It was installed and the old one hauled out today.
We went to grandma and grandpa Wecker's for Thanksgiving. He had a great time playing with Scout, grandpa, and grandma. He also helped mom sort the ads for Black Friday. He's a natural!

Well...our baby's future is set. He is going to be a drama nerd...
We went to the school's musical "Once Upon a Mattress" and it started at 7. He was asleep in the car and so we thought he'd sleep the whole time, but nope. He was ENTRANCED!! He stayed up and watched the whole thing. He was mesmerized by one of our students singing. He watched her go around and around on stage. He was a little scared by the clapping, but just a little. Then, at the end when P took him into the bathroom, he noticed that the bathroom echoed...so he didn't stop singing to himself the whole time. And of course, just to be the cherry on the sundae, he sang almost the whole ride home till exhaustion finally took over and he fell asleep, it was 8:30 after all! (The nighty shot is him, happy as can be and delirious whilst we were getting him ready for bed...he really loved the musical!)
Not much up with cute baby today, but I love the way he looks at me, so intensely as he eats. The picture doesn't really do it justice.
I am a first time mom in my mid-thirties. This is to share pictures and daily info about our precious little newborn son, Tenzin.
