This morning, before he got bad, he was rolling all over the room and cracking me up. He was all nesting up under the rocking chair. He is also getting all addicted to technology like his dad. He is learning how to do math and when he is fussy, he loves to watch Baby Einstein on my iPhone. Funny, funny baby. I hope he feels better tomorrow. He cried himself to sleep tonite, which is very unusual.
The day started out nicely...we had a late start and just lounged around. Then, poor baby got sicker and sicker. He is a big snotty wreck and cried and cried for no reason. We had to hold him all the time. He didn't even eat on his own today, we had to hold it up. Poor baby.

So... today was an overall great day for mom. Please see my Rants, Raves, and other stuff for full deets. But on the sad side, baby has his first cold. He doesn't have a fever but has a runny nose and lots of sneezes and coughs. I called Dr. Pete and he just said it is what it is and let it run it's course unless he gets a fever or stops eating and pooping. Poorest baby. His eyes are all puffy and red and his nose is sensitive already. It is clear snot at least, but it is still sad.
Part of mom's great day involved Aunt Julie visiting...luckily for Tenzin she loves him and makes him laugh his guts out. They had a great time. So when he woke up this morning, mom let him wear his PJ's, plus a pumpkin hat to school. He was sure smilie and happy for the camera. Then, after a spell, we dressed him up and he wore his Yoda ears. When we went to lunch, he was standing up in his carseat and making us all crack up. He is seconds away from crawling. He has all the components...just not at the same time. I expect to be posting he is crawling at any moment. Yay for this cute baby!
Just as promised... pictures of poor baby's first dinner. We started out with some peas. Guess he is grandma Weez's grandson for sure because he did not love it. He was leAs you can see. I forgot, yesterday to have him take some pics with his 6 that I got him. So, i did that today. He got the peas everywhere. On his feet, all over the table, just everywhere. He also didn't love it. The Zombie Snack bib is pretty funny with green stuff everywhere tho. I also put him in his really adorable Halloween PJ's. Cute!
I will be loading pictures up on him eating some baby food that I just bought, but these are on the school camera from the kids this morning so I wanted to put them up now. He is loving his frozen teether and seems to be feeling OK today even after his shots. He has been a little tired today tho.
I listened to my Dr. and am buying him a few flavors of baby food. He suggested it because baby food has very high USDA standards and they can't use pesticides and have to use organic manure and not fake stuff and since he can still be affected by these more severely than when he is older... I am not risking it by just making baby food out of what we eat. Also, he is only on fruits and veggies. After he gets some more immune system and starts to like and really eat food (2-3 months) then I can stop buying food. He will be eating such a small quantity for the next little while that it seems worth the 2-3 dollars every couple of weeks. Anyway... IF we ate super healthy and all organic foods or grew our own... I wouldn't have to buy them, but we don't. So I am being cautious even tho I know almost everyone I know disagrees. But that is why I have a pediatrician...to guide me, right?! This sweetest, cutest baby ever is officially 6 months old today! Half a year of cuteness! So I took pictures of him doing all his big boy things today. Wearing his footsie PJ's instead of a nightgown, him sitting in his big boy stroller- not in the bassinett thing, sitting up at a high chair with mama and aunt Holly, in his big boy car seat (that makes him look small), then we had to take him to Dr. Pete and he played and laughed with the phone (like mom) and then poor baby had to get shots. He got 2 in each thigh and only got crayon bandaids to show for it :-(. He was so good about the shots and seeing the doctor.
I took these pics yesterday...I just didn't have time to put them up. Yesterday was a crazy busy day and night. Knitting Circle was last night so I didn't even get to bed till almost 11 and getting up to put up pics was not my idea of fun. Anyway, baby boy is officially 180 days old (yesterday) and 6 months old via the calendar today. I have special pics in mind for today, but that will be later. Yesterday's are him being a hipster, laid back dude and just cute smiles. He is a pretty awesome 6 month old. I know that I call Tenzin the sweetest baby ever all the time, but this weekend, he proved that he really is the sweetest baby with the best disposition ever! He had diahrea all weekend and he was just smiling and laughing like normal. He got a little fussy when he had another dirty diaper, but he let us know and then was sweet as pie again. We could hear his stomie rumbling...and he was still smiles. Then, all that bid'ness in disposable diapers and he has the worst diaper rash ever. But, he is still all smiles and so happy when we put th
Trying out the new school camera today...funny baby kept trying to grab it. Thien, he wore himself out and just fell asleep on the floor...we left him, yeah, we may be the worst parents ever.
Sweetest baby woke up a new boy today. There are just those days that his face changes a lot and when I see him in the morning, I don't recognize him. Today was one of those mornings...again. Seems like I am having so many of them. He is also in a new stage that he has outgrown his baby carseat and had to move up to the big boy sit up car seat. Which also means we can't bring the little carrier thing inside of places, so he had his first sit in a high chair day. He didn't really sit up as much as lean. He was also fascinated by the fan
