Tenz was a funny, funny baby today. He was playing in his exersaucer thing just smiling and laughing. Then he was reading with dad and was just so happy to hear that story! Then he fell asleep on mom. Then he was rolling his leaf thing over his head like he loves to do. Then he had a huge poopy over flow and we didn't have the diappies cleaned, so we had to put him in an icky plastic one, and he was just laughing at me the whole time.
Such a funny baby today. When I went to get him out of bed this morning, he had rolled over onto his belly and was just laughing and happy to see me. Then, we had a really busy day at school and he was great. We got home and him and daddy were playing Captain Elephant. We aren't sure how he got it all spun around like that, but it was funny. We went to book club and JoAnne was singing to him and he was just sucking it up. But, on the way home he fell asleep and he was scowling at the light...in his sleep. Made me laugh.
Still working on swallowing and actually understanding his rice cereal. He really doesn't love it so much. He is getting really, really good at sitting straight up on his own. He is also really good at making raspberries and zurberts...
Baby has been a huge piggie, pig today. He has been eating his 8 ounces every few hours...it is pretty crazy town. He must be getting ready to have a huge growing spree again. This is his formula coma face after just eating, "More brains...I mean milk. More Milk!"
The pictures speak for themselves today...speak for themselves.
Meet my baby...the zombie. He had a nap, had been fed, bathed, dressed, and he was just a big lulmpy lump with a far off look in his eye. He was loosy goosy and zombified. He was cracking us up. Luckily, we went to Aunt Jess' and made pot stickers and a million people were there to hug and love him until he unzombied and got laughing and such. Good, restful, labor day.
It was a very busy day for sweet baby. First, he spent the morning playing with his lay down playset and turning over and over. Then, we gave him his first rice cereal...which he did not take to at all. He looked bewildered and confused as to why we were shoving this thing in his mouth and not allowing him to suck on it. He was wiping it out of his own mouth with a towel and we were dying laughing. Then, he played with his standing playset. He was having the birds sing the color song a million times over. I am not sure if he realized, ever, that him touching it made it sing and the lights. Then, he had a bath and he peed all over mom and mom's bed and just started laughing and laughing. I think he knew what he did! Little debil boy. I am so happy we have tomorrow off, we need another day of rest. His poor cheeks are just raw and he scraped two big gashes in his sides last night. Even wearing the mitten night shirt. I have been putting neosporin and lotion on his cheeks, but they are still having issues. Then, he was playing with his leaf mat, pulled it over his face and fell asleep. Such a cute, cute baby.
Cute baby was rocking his open nighty and diappie this morning...cracked me up. I had to take a picture. Then, later, he was playing with his playset and was rolling over and over! He still can only roll one way (he isn't an ambi-roller) but it is sure cute. I kept rolling him back over so he'd roll over again.
